Double mercerization (a complex technique in which the fabric or yarn is treated with a sodium hydroxide solution) provides a brilliant luster and an intensely deep hue. Their selection includes 444 single-color, 16 ombre and 24 variegated tones in 8 meter skeins. So, there is no lack of colors even when embroidering the spiciest act or the sweetest still life wall art. The most popular mouliné from the Anchor range is suitable for universal use, especially when embroidering using the cross-stitch or freestyle techniques.

Anchor Pearl Cotton is a silky soft 2-ply embroidery thread made from 100% Egyptian Giza cotton, mercerized with a softer twist. It is suitable for hardanger, cross-stitch and freestyle embroidery work, whilst being also often used for crocheting. Pearl Cotton is available in solid, ombre, variegated and metallic shades, and in different thicknesses (no. 5, 8 and 12). Anchor Alcazar is a 100% viscose machine embroidery thread for embroidery projects with a fantastic sheen. It is also suitable for sewing silk and viscose fabrics or making button holes. Depending on the size of the roll there are so many colors to choose from that your vision might go blurry - up to 223 colours at that.

Anchor Metallic is the perfect thread to achieve a glamorous metallic efect  and enhance your machine embroidery designs.
