REGIA is a world-leading sock yarn brand that has been offering easy-care woolen sock yarns with high production standards in a wide range of patterns and colors since 1949.
75 years ago, REGIA did something revolutionary - in addition to the wool fiber, they also introduced a synthetic fiber that provides strength, thanks to which the knitted socks lasted longer than 100% wool socks.

Fortunately, this was not the only revolutionary idea that the REGIA team had up its sleeve. In cooperation with the Freundin team, they have brought something new to the market - "my favorite sockyarn" made of "mercerized wool", which, as the name suggests, will become everyone's new favorite yarn in the near future. ;)

What is special about this yarn? To begin with, as with all other REGIA yarns, my favorite sockyarn is characterized by high quality and durability. However, in the case of this yarn, additional processing of the fiber surface - mercerization, has been used, which gives the yarn exceptional softness and makes the items comfortable to wear.  As a result of additional processing, the yarn has particularly bright and vivid colors, which can be used to combine beautiful and colorful socks and gloves. 4-ply yarn, with classic composition - 75% wool, 25% polyamide. It is important to note that the wool raw material is obtained from farms whose activities are based on the "mulesing free" method. My favorite sockyarn items are machine washable at 40°C and suitable for drying in the dryer (low temperature).
